Independent management consultant

Hans and I have worked together in a leadership training for local leaders in Bulawayo. This training was organized by the Dutch Libre Foundation and aimed at empowerment of leaders in small NGO’s. Hans contributed as excellent networker, organization and strategy coach and facilitator. At the moment he still offers his networking and consultancy skills to the participants of the programme. I was great to work with him.

I am Hans Blom

Business developer and (co-)owner of companies

Driven by my unwavering belief in a better world, I've navigated a diverse career, starting as a civil servant turned organizational developer. My educational journey through BSc in Social Work and MSc in Organizational Psychology, while working full-time, sparked a lifelong dedication to learning, later exploring business administration, psychodynamics, and leadership. This knowledge has been my companion through varied roles — from consultant, coach, and CEO to board member in both for-profit and non-profit organizations.

My transition to Zimbabwe unfolded new horizons, presenting daily opportunities and earning me the informal title of ‘boss’. Reflecting on how I could contribute to enhancing living conditions here, I chose a path not of a boss, but of a social entrepreneur, determined to develop businesses that elevate the welfare of the inhabitants of this stunning country.

Guiding Principles for Impactful Entrepreneurship

Core Value

Integrity, inclusion, and respect guide my actions and mindset. Every individual and nature itself deserve respect and preservation, ensuring we leave a meaningful footprint for future generations. Learning from various perspectives, even competitors, is key to enriching our own paths.

My Drive

Fueled by a commitment to uncovering new options and better answers for societal and individual needs, my drive hinges on honoring talents and ensuring fair compensation for everyone. Through social entrepreneurship, I advocate for inclusive approaches that recognize and celebrate individual differences.

What I Do

I build businesses in the African region to support both my family and budding entrepreneurs here. These enterprises aim for financial and societal profitability, investing in collective prosperity and personal growth. With a rich background in organizational psychology, I harness decades of diverse organizational learning to create, develop, and optimize businesses.
